Camera
There are
many different camera shots in the opening title sequence. There is a tilted
camera shot and this sets the scene as it shows us the high school that this
movie is set in. There are many close up shots used when introducing the
characters. This allows us to have a good look at the characters. There also
some long shots and bird eye view shots; these set the scene and allow us to
see the location of the movie.

Sound
The main
sound during the opening title sequence is the voice over which the voice of
the main actress Emma Stone. As she is the narrator we can tell that this
story and we will be hearing her side. The continuous up beat music playing
through out the opening gives creates a very happy mood.

characters
are. They are dressed very

gives us an idea about them being in high school. With their clothes it
allows us to put them into stereotypically social groups. Like the nerds or
the mean girls. The props used are mobile phones and text books. These are
typical props for teenagers in high school.

Editing
The editing in the opening of this movie is not
too complex because it is not an action or horror movie. The ‘A’ is red which
makes it stand out more and allows the audience to remember it.
