In one of our media lessons we have created our own sound through the use of garage band therefore allowing us to expand our knowledge and create a soundtrack for the movie , 10 thing I hate about you. We used a variety of sounds to create a upbeat track to go along with the movie, this was successful as the sounds fade in with the film very well. We found it very easy and useful as we were able to explore all the different sounds available for when to start to create our own title sequence, there were lots of different sounds available for all sorts of genres e.g horror, comedy, romance and action.
In this screen grab we used the Movie type as we already had the film saved on to another document, where as when we create a soundtrack we will have to use loops as our film will not be completed yet. Which we will then later on embedded into the film through final cut pro, however we can make a rough cut of our title sequence so we can get a idea of what sounds we can use.
Therefore garage band is going to a key aspect when completing our title sequence, providing us with lots of different sounds even ones such as footsteps and screams through the use of foley sounds. This
will make our title sequence seem more realistic and effective allowing us to create a good soundtrack.
