Initial Ideas Of Film

Plot of story:

We come up with this idea from the well known film Taken, which is about a girl who is abducted while away with her friend. We slightly changed it as the film is going to be a Youth drama showing a young teenage girls daily life with her friends, family and in college. She then notices that she is being followed nearly everywhere she goes by a unknown stalker, this then leads to something dramatic which will allow the audience to be intrigued to continue watching our film. The stalking goes on for a long period of time which is shown in the title sequence. In the beginning of the film we have decided to utilize flashbacks to make the sequence more dramatic as it starts with the girl running and then the name of the film is shown which is then jumped cut to a scene of her daily life.







We have planned to use lots of different locations through the use of match cuts and editing, these locations are going to be later blogged through images. The fact that the type of genre we have used is a sub-genre of horror/thriller allows us to make our film more effective through the use of sounds and different fonts.

We have come up with two different names which are The Stalker and Watch, we are not too sure which name we want to use for our title sequence yet. We have also planned to write a short script for the different scenes we have decided to do and plan for the title sequence to be roughly three minutes.

 The fonts that we are going to use will be bold and dark colors as it will link with the theme of the title sequence, this will allow the audience to understand our genre and engage them to continue watching it.
